Happy Anniversary

That's right, Monday is mine and Paul's two year anniversary! Can you believe it? I certainly cannot. A lot has happened in these 2 years as well- primarily buying a house and having a baby, who will be 3 mos on Wed. I must say, when I thought about my life- even after graduation (which was a whopping 6 yrs ago this weekend)- I did not think I would be married with a house and a baby by the age of 28. I am very happy and thankful that I was wrong, though.
Enough with the mushy stuff..... Adelyn is still growing by the day. She is cooing (or what I believe to be cooing) all the time now, its adorable. That, along with a smile, will melt your heart. She can sit up in her bumbo chair all by herself! She is still trying to get her whole fist in her mouth, and getting somewhat close to attaining that goal! She has also started sleeping through the night (much to my relief!). Around April 12 or so she dropped one of her midnight feedings and began to wake around 3 or so to feed, for the first time, 2 weeks ago, she slept from 9-645, and then began to revert back to her midnight feeding days. I was so happy, and then thought it must have been a fluke. She must have been going through a growth spurt, because that has since stopped and the past few nights she has slept from 7-8 until 630 or so. It has been wonderful! We have started a nighttime routine at least- Paul gives her a bath, I give her one last feed and then she goes down. We generally try to get her down sometime between 7 and 8, though that doesnt always work. Its wonderful to watch her grow and learn new things every day :)

This is when my friends Carrie and Kels came to visit.... these are from Carrie :)

May!

Well, it is May, which officially begins wedding month. This past weekend we went to Savannah for my cousin Libby's wedding. She looked beautiful and everyone had a lot of fun. Adelyn got to meet her Uncle Ben, Aunt Connie, Uncle Bob and cousin, Amanda, her other cousin, Libby, was a little too busy getting married.

I just thought this was funny because Bob actually is my uncle :)

My friend Kelsey flew out from Oregon for a visit the last weekend in April. She is shooting a wedding this summer and wanted to practice, here are some of the photos she sent me...

We are heading to Sea Island this weekend for Paul's cousin's wedding. I am sure there will be more pictures to follow.... hope everyone has a great week!
