Sweet Potatoes and Bananas

We love exploring new foods with Adelyn, watching her faces when she tries new ones is generally a pretty funny site. So far we have tried carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, pears and bananas. All but the latter, as you can see below, has been well received!

5 months and Food!

We have been successfully eating solid food for a little over a week now, and it has gone over very well! She likes to feed herself, though she hasnt quite got down the whole keep the spoon upright part yet. Sunday was our first foray into real people food, i made carrots. As you can see below, she likes them in any form.
Yesterday was Adelyn's 5 month birthday. She can now turn successfully from back to tummy and over again. She also enjoys grabbing anything and everything she can during bathtime, which makes it a little more difficult. Unfortunately, she still cant quite sit up on her own, so no big tub quite yet... until next time.

July 4th Weekend

We had a great weekend on Sea Island for July 4th. We had 21 people and 7 dogs all under one roof. Needless to say there was organized chaos for several days, but everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Here are a few pictures...
