Baptism

We had Adelyn's baptism this past Sunday. It was a wonderful weekend and so happy it turned out as well as it did! Thankfully it happened, as Paul and I somehow got the original date mixed up at the original church we were going to have it at. We had to scramble, and, thanks to Paul's persistence, we ended up having it at a different church on Ft. George Island. It all worked out well, though. It was a much smaller, more intimate setting for all involved.

Labor Day, New Orleans, Teeth, Oh My!

I hope that everyone had a fantastic Labor Day holiday! I know the 3 of us did. Paul and I went to New Orleans with some friends of mine from Davidson, we had so much fun! And while we missed Adelyn, we knew that she was in good hands with Nana and Pop-Pop. It was a great weekend, and just what we needed. We are very thankful we have such wonderful grandparents, on both sides, who can stay with her when we need a little getaway!
The main thing going on with Adelyn now? She has two, yes, two, teeth coming in. Her bottom front teeth have officially broken the gum surface. She didnt seem to be in too much discomfort, nothing out of the ordinary, and all of a sudden- bam, there they are.
In other news, Adelyn is getting baptized this weekend. We are having a big celebration with grandparents, great grandparents, aunts and an uncle coming to visit. Will post more on that later, along with some pictures.
