News
We have some fairly exciting news in the Moerman household... Paul has accepted a new position at a recruiting firm in Jacksonville. He starts next week! We are excited because he will be working from 8-5 meaning he will be back in time to play with Adelyn and give her a bath before she goes down for the night. It also means that we will not be eating at 930! He will be out of town training all of next week, and then the following week he and I will be in Mexico while Adelyn stays with Gram and Papee. I know they have already got a lot planned for their week. Hopefully we will get a new camera before we leave... Until then!

July 4 2011
Hello all! We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend with friends and family. Uncle Ben flew in to town so Adelyn and I were able to spend a few quality hours with him on Friday before heading over to Sea Island to spend the rest of the weekend with Nana, PopPop, Aunt Kati, Mama Alice, Daddy Joe, cousin Natalie, PM, Aunt Cissy and Uncle Bill. It was a full house! We spent the majority of each day playing in the pools and fountains of the beach club- Adelyn loved it! She played in the baby pool 'swimming' on her own and showing everyone how she can blow bubbles. She also won the 0-2 age group swim contest... with absolutely no help from mommy at all :) She won her first 1st place medal! We also got to play with Kelly and Jack Crosby, who came all the way from California for the long weekend, for a bit of time as well. It was great to see them!
And though it did not stop her from having a good time, Adelyn began oozing from the eyes. Thinking she had pink eye, we went to the doctor Tuesday morning. Thankfully it was not pink eye, instead, we discovered, a bad ear infection which caused stuff to come out of every orifice on her face. We immediately put her on antibiotics and she is already doing much better. She never seemed to be in too much pain, but some of her behavior does make much more sense looking back on it.
Unfortunately Paul broke our camera during our mountain trip so I do not have any pictures from the weekend, sorry!
