We took Adelyn, yet again, to see Dr. Thompson yesterday because of a persistent cough, runny nose and drainage from the eyes. She had similar symptoms, minus the spiked fever, in January. Both times, there was a little fluid build up in the ears and the eardrums looked as if they had been suctioned back into the ear canal. Apparently it is not a painful thing, just uncomfortable because of the pressure. Dr. Thompson decided that Adelyn had really bad allergies since there wasnt any kind of infection, just a lot of swelling from congestion. He sent us on our way with yet another prescription for Amoxicillan and a prescription for Flonase, which we are to give her once/day until summer. Hopefully this will help!
We had our first true beach weekend last weekend, it was so much fun! Pictures are below.... We certainly have a beach babe on our hands!

Sunday marked one month since we had to put Buck down. I am not certain
what I expected, but I am amazed at Adelyn's memory. Every morning she
asks for Daddy, I had been saying 'Daddy is at work'. She then followed
that by 'where Buck', I responded with a 'We had to say bye bye to Buck,
he was really sick'. Now she says, 'daddy work?'. Yes Adelyn, daddy is
at work. 'bbye bbye buck?', that's right, we had to say bye bye to Buck.
"Buck really sick. really really sick". Thats right! We had to say bye
bye because Buck was really sick. Anytime we are at my parents place,
she remembers right where we buried Buck and she waves to him and says
'BYE BUCK'! I imagine as she gets older, the memory of Buck will fade,
but it is nice to know that anytime his name is mentioned (usually
around dinner time, in the context that he is missing out on a lot of
dropped food), she says, 'bye buck. really sick'.
Here are a few more pictures from weekends past....
