Yes, its true. At some point in time during the past two weeks, during some massive movements witnessed by Paul from the outside, she decided to turn. I am very glad she is a bit more cooperative than initially suspected.
I had my 36 week checkup this morning and Dr. Gowen confirmed that she has in fact turned and is now in the proper position. I am very happy to know that I wont have to go through major surgery and she will come when she is ready, but it is also a bit scary not being able to make plans. I guess I should get used to it. I do believe that I want to do a completely natural childbirth- no drugs. I know that will be very painful, and I very well may change my mind, but as of right now, I dont like the idea of drugs and what it may do to me or to her.
Other than that big news, everything else seems in order. We pre-registered at the hospital after our appointment and Paul learned where to bring me and parking, etc. We werent able to get a look at one of the rooms because of construction but I am sure they are perfectly acceptable!
I have packed my hospital bag and all of the nursery furniture is finally in. Mom is coming down with the Suburban tomorrow to pick it up with me. We have a fun filled weekend of getting that all organized. I will post pictures after that so everyone can see. Have a great weekend!
