Teeth, cold and more....

After two mornings in day care it was evident why, it seemed, all children I knew who had been in daycare all day for 5 days were CONSTANTLY sick. Adelyn has her first 'daycare' cold; it did not seem to bother her (other than someone wiping her raw nose), until yesterday. It was a rough day. She went to daycare but had seemed agitated, when I picked her up her teachers told me she had been a little more fussy than usual. After I picked her up I noticed she was touching her face and ears more and not sleeping like she normally does, she also cried most of the day. Stopping occasionally to drink fluids and read a book. I could tell something was wrong, but I did not know what it was. I called the doctor this morning and they had me bring Adelyn in to make sure it wasnt an ear infection. Thankfully her ears are clear and her cold is nothing more than a cold. We did discover; however, that she has two MASSIVE molars coming in on top. They havent quite broken the surface yet, which, according to Dr. Thompson, is the most likely cause for Adelyn's pain yesterday. He said that days like that will come and go over the next few months as these and her bottom 1 yr molars grow in. I am glad to know what is wrong with her, but sad that I know this is one thing that I really cant do anything to help. Today has been a little better, unfortunately she still isnt sleeping like she should....
