Due date has come and gone....

..... and still no baby. And I am still as uncomfortable as ever! I had another dr apt Friday and was informed that there was no sign of baby to come anytime in the near future. Just what we have all wanted to hear! Assuming we have no change today, I have another appointment tomorrow and if everything is still status quo, as I suspect it will be, unfortunately, I will be putting my name on the induction list for Thursday. I would rather not be induced but Dr. Gowen says that the projected due date is so accurate and nothing good comes from letting babies cook longer, so they prefer not to let them go a week past the due date. Despite my wanting to do this whole thing naturally and unmedicated, if baby girl has her way, my desires are out the window. I know that induction hurts more than if she were to come regularly and I will be tied up in bed anyways because of the need for constant monitoring and IV fluids, so that being said, I will probably end up getting an epidural. It makes me sad, but as long as baby is happy and healthy that is what is most important. I guess thats all for now...
